Hello, my name is John. I'm originally from London, England. I've taught English to all ages and levels in Thailand and Japan for over 20 years. In my classes the focus is on your needs as a student. What are your goals in studying English? My classes will be designed to help you achieve those goals. I'll help you improve your pronunciation and vocabulary. I'll show you how to use English effectively in today's world. The emphasis is on accurate communication in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. From studying Thai and Japanese, I understand the language learning process from both a Teacher and Student perspective. I see mistakes as oppertunities to learn, build confidence and overcome any shyness in speaking a foreign language. When I'm not teaching, I like to paint in both Oil and Acrylic medium. I enjoy reading English Literature and I love hiking in nature.
